Protected hand-launch area inside Santa Cruz Harbor. Exact meetup and launch instructions are provided with your booking.

Half Moon Bay

Protected beach launch inside Pillar Point Harbor, next to the boat-launch area. No surf launch required.

Launch as early as you like — the bay is glass at dawn and the fishing is better for it — but every kayak is off the water by noon, before the afternoon wind.
