Santa Cruz Harbor

A protected harbor launch with easy access to productive fishing grounds in Monterey Bay. Pedal out through the harbor entrance and fish for halibut, rockfish, lingcod, and other coastal species depending on the season and current regulations.

Pillar Point Harbor, Half Moon Bay
Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
Pillar Point is a large protected harbor with an easy launch inside the breakwater and direct access to the Half Moon Bay coast. On calm days, renters can fish nearby reefs, rocky structure, and open-water areas outside the harbor.

Monterey Harbor
Monterey, CA 93940
The south end of Monterey Bay, with kelp beds close to the harbor and deeper water off the canyon edge. Calm mornings here are among the most protected on the bay, and the fishing runs to rockfish, lingcod and halibut depending on the season and current regulations.
